Ninh Family Crème Brûlée
Emily, my daughter has a real sweet tooth, so one of her favorites dessert is Creme Brulee. For Christmas my kids got me several Kitchen Tools & Gadgets from Williams-Sonoma. One of them was a kitchen torch so we could make their favorite dessert, Crème brûlée. Crème brûlée is such an easy and fun treat to make and so tasty. My kids have modified the recipe from Martha Stewart and here they shared tips and tricks on how to make an easy creamy and rich dessert at home.
Ingredients:
For Custard
32 oz heavy cream
2/3 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
7 large egg yolks
1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
For Custard
1/2 cup sugar - use regular white sugar
